Do you make everything yourself?

Not everything. Everything in my Handmade collections is made by me here in Melbourne. The store also includes a curated selection of quality retail products for makers. Everything I stock is something I or my creative besties personally love and use.

How long will my order take to be sent?

In-stock items are packed within 2–3 business days. Handmade or made-to-order pieces are ready within 2–3 weeks. Once your parcel has been shipped, you’ll receive tracking details by email.

Do you offer international shipping?

Not at this time. I currently ship Australia-wide only.

Can I return my order if I change my mind?

Unfortunately, I’m unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or sale items. This includes custom-made pieces created to your chosen fabrics or specifications.

What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please get in touch within 14 days at hello@carolmakesinmelbourne.com.au. You can choose a repair, replacement, refund, or store credit in line with Australian Consumer Law. I’ll cover the cost of sending your replacement or refund, and I’ll let you know how to return the original item safely.

Can I order a custom handmade piece?

Yes. I love creating one-of-a-kind pieces. If you’d like something made just for you, please get in touch. Custom orders generally take 2–3 weeks to make but will depend on complexity.  We’ll agree on timing upfront.

Where can I follow your work?

You can find me on Instagram and Facebook, where I share new products, share upcoming collection details, behind-the-scenes moments, and a few updates from the sewing room, often featuring Bowie and Hendrix.
